Hello Campers, Founding Members and the Château Curious,
I have exciting news this month as we are welcoming on board our new Camp Director, Tegwen Evans. Tegwen was born in the United States and spent many wonderful summers at summer camp in PA, first as a camper and then as a camp counselor. They are a photographer, artist and entreprenuer and they know and love the Quercy region of France (where our beautiful Château de Béduer is situated). Tegwen emigrated to Berlin, Germany six years ago and will be living on site at Château de Béduer every summer for camp season. Here are a few words from Tegwen…
Hello lovely campers, my name is Tegwen (they/them) and I am happy to be joining as Camp Director of Camp Château! My job is to make every summer even more memorable than the last. I can’t wait to lead you to your activities, introduce you to one another, feed your hungry bellies, and release that inner child. We are also putting stock together for a gorgeous on-site Camp Store for you to browse through when you visit us in Béduer next summer.
Did you know we offer Gift Certificates? If you really want to be a woman’s favorite Aunty/ Grandma/ Parent/ Sister/ Friend this holiday season then show them the love and treat them to a gift certificate for camp next year! Winning move!
I see that our private Facebook group for confirmed founders and campers is starting to warm up. It’s a great place to meet campers in your session, swap travel tips, look for travel buddies and start getting excited about next summer! If you are a founder or a confirmed camper, then you should have received an invitation to the group. If you cannot find your invite, drop us a line at info@campchateau.com and we will get you in on the fun.
